Hello all
Can I just say I really don't know fish at all!
Whilst out with my dog Storm today we had a paddle in a stream to cool down. 
Saw these and i have no idea what they are? 
Can someone please enlighten me.

It is hard to tell from the photo but they look like stickle back to me but could be minnows? |

The way their bodies bend like that, I would say Minnow rather than Stickleback, but I really couldn't say what species they are for sure

Assuming they are mature fish, I would say Minnows rather than Stickleback too.

Would more photos help?
Saying that none are as clear as this one. I thought either M or S but the white bits throw me off!

I looked up pics of Minnows on Google, and could see the same "bits of white", so that was reassuring.
