| | | Strange optical effects in pond!
At Minsmere bird reserve Suffolk this week I again observed [amongst many things!] the strange effect of a halo and bi-colour around one's head shadow in a turbid shallow pond as YouTube - Strange optical effects in water
This time I had a camera to hand  Anyone else observed this effect?

Maybe its just me, but, i can only see the 'halo' effect coming from the shadow on the right! Why does it not also appear on the left hand shadow?
