| | | Re: My pond Your hoverflies Helophilus pendulus and Eristalis pertinax, both breed in and around ponds so you should get some rat tailed maggots, which will attract other animals that feed on them. Ponds are great for this "feedchain" effect. |

Yes its all newt food lol..they wont stay in there long but I hope a few make it I like hoverflies. |

We're lucky our dogs don't seem to notice the pond is there - they always take a wide berth, which wurprised us because they always find every manky puddle when out for a walk!
