Larvae Id please

Hi,

I have moved into a new house and inherited a not too healthy pond. Two frogs are living in there happily though so I haven't disturbed it too much. Mianly just planting oxygenating plants, clearing some rotting matter from the bottom and adding some fresh water. The plan in autumn is a proper pond!

Anyway, in the meantime I was wondering if you could id these fellas. Amongst the hoverfly and mosquito/midge larvae I saw these and didn't recognise them, any ideas?

This was swishing around, has feathered parts at each end, about 1cm long:



There where a few of these flicking about, approx 5mm long.

I think the bottom one might be a gnat/mosquito pupa.
