Cheers Dan. My parents got it from the NEC in birmingham, there wasnt many stalls selling natives. The stall was for mimmacks aquatics in Essex, i have the web address but not sure if i can post it on here?

| | | Re: First wildlife pond I recommend not putting any duckweed or water fern in it (not one frond)! They are pretty but soon you shall have a light-obscuring mat on the pond and you will forever be removing it as it grows quickly and is fiddly to take out. |

| | | Re: First wildlife pond Just a quick update. It is all going good, ive got all sorts living in the pond now. I have beetles, not sure which, leech, copepods, daphnia, midge larvae, hoverfly larvae and noticed a gammarus shrimp today
