Shore fish ID

Found this fish under a rock on the shore at Seahouses, Northumberland. It was not actually in water but seemed quite able to move over the damp rock.

It was around 5cm long

I would guess that it is a Shanny but would appreciate any confirmation/suggestions.

Yes I reckon it is a shanny. Bit difficult to make out due to the exposure but I reckon it is too long in the body to be one of the scorpion fish species.

Yes I'd say shanny as well. It is difficult to tell from the photo but I don't know what else it could be

I've always called them Blennys

Lance, as far as I am aware there are several sorts of Blenny of which one is the Shanny.
