| | | Long Worm on Beach I took this pic on 13th April 2009 on the shore of Belfast Lough at Hazelbank. I think it may be a Lugworm or Ragworm and would appreciate an ID.

| | | Re: Long Worm on Beach Yep, Neris virens, colour gives it away.Oh but it could also be Phyllodoce lamelligeraif it is very long (you dont say how long is long!!) they are very long but not as 'flabby' as Neris virens.Would be able to tell if the proboscis was extended.

Would prob still go for King rag though.
