Photographed this in a duck pond today, would like to know what it is, I think it is either a Rudd or a Roach.  |

Difficult to be certain, but from the angle of view, the fish does appear to have quite a deep set body, so I'd lean towards Roach.

Its a rudd. The dorsal fin is set well back and the fins are deep red. it also lacks a red eye. |

Looks like a rudd to me to. Although to be fair Roach and Rudd are hard to tell apart on a photo such as this...

In the past I've caught plenty of both, but I'd say Rudd too.
