| |  Unidentified Hopper
There were loads of these jumping around our apartment in Pwllheli last week. We were next to the beach. Does anyone know which Hopper they are ? Sand Hopper, Mud Hopper or something else ?

It is a type of sandhopper or amphipod, but I don't know the different species. |

i've seen those on the beach (or something VERY like it) so probably a sandhopper. it looks related to a flea |

Fleas are insects with a modified lifestyle to suit their parasitic lifestyle, while sandhoppers are crustaceans, so more closely related to crabs + woodlice amongst others. |
