| | | mauled frog My neighbour brought one of our frogs around yesterday afternoon while I was in work; apparently her cat had brought it in My daughter said he seemed okay apart from a puncture wound, I told her to pop it next to the pond and keep a watch for more murdering cats. What's the chances of the frog surviving a puncture wound ? Will germs set in ?
I've grown so fond of my frogs, I sit out with a coffee and they start popping their heads out of the pond, they're like my little friends

| | | Re: mauled frog Im afraid cats often cause bacterial infections in the cuts when they attack frogs. Survival depends very much on how bad these injurys are, can it still move etc? Just one of the many problems cats pose to the natural world. |
