I have toad pawn and newts in my pond the adult toads do not come back and eat the black dots. The toad spawn/baby toads tastes horrible apparently even the newts in my pond will not eat them.
They will eat the tadpoles though.
The baby newts you are seeing with the gills are called efts.
The toadpoles will eat the newt eggs though. The newts will lay 200-300 eggs over the summer only 5 or 6 will make it to adulthood. |

[url=http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/pictures/showph
Then post on the thread. Then your pic will be shown. |

In view of the fact that in my opinion, this unique round-about way of submitting pics appears to be above me, maybe I should look elsewhere for a forum that does not require such measures and actually welcomes new members more readily rather than give the impression you either do it right or risk the wrath of mods. |

The mods will give you all the help you need.. I'm sorry if I gave you wrong impression of them.
I know it can be a bit complicated but if you stick with it, it does get easier..
The mods have a job to do and removing threads and posts when people deleted the pics from outside links causes all sorts of problems.
As for welcoming new members, I don't think you will find another friendlier site on the web. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
