| | | Re: What would you most like to find or see? a really good place to see owls.. seen barn owls and tawny owls at nite flying past and watched little owls a few times.. even saw a short eared owl and got great views of it.. i just want somewhere in kent thats good for watching barn owls at dusk... a simple request but one that would make me very happy.. as u can see i'm easily pleased.. he he.. james |

Apparently they pop up fairly often around there. There are regular little owls at Oare marshes too |

Dont know who was more surprised, the otter which appeared out of the water just a few feet away from us, or us to see it so close and bold.
It would be great to see an eagle, but I have never seen a newt in the wild, so I guess that would be my choice, so long as I had my camera with me that is |

I would love to see a turtle in our coastal waters although the temperature might make them very sluggish. Would also love to swim with a basking shark. Maybe this year I will.
I hear there is another white stag, in Scotland. Would be nice to see this, but probably better to leave it alone, eh. Just nice to know its there.

I know they come up on Welsh beaches occasionally. | I'd go with that - missed one on the beach at Morfa Harlech many years ago and having "got" Orca in Orkney a few years ago and Basking Shark on Coll, Turtles has to be my big one still to see.

i live on the east kent coast im a part time gamekeeper on an area of marsh land we've got a pair of barn owls that put a show on nearly every nigth if your ever down this way id be pleased to take you out to try and see them this goes for anyone else,you can see a pic on my archive photo,s
