I expect it was just someone who had it in a tank and it got too big so they stupidly dumped it in the river. I'm sure if they were breeding there would of been more reports of catches as they seem like greedy so and so's. |

hahaha! I love the Daily Mail. I know dumping alien species is potentially a big deal (see the current thread on grey squirrels), but that thing is quite cute
