| | | pond dilema I've just popped outside to gather the usual scoop of leaves from the pond surface. Whilst doing this I decided to finally ditch my refused-to-flower -eva water hyacinths which I'd bought earlier in the year for surface cover, however, there were lots of crustaceans still crawling around underneath within the roots. Should I leave the hyacinths a little longer ?
Also I've gathered a fair amount of brown, decomposing pondweed and was about to remove more when I caught around 10 decent sized taddies Should I now stop gathering old pondweed in case they need it for food/cover ?
