Mayford Pond is 10-years old!

Hi all,

One of my ongoing conservation projects, Mayford Heritage Pond, is 10years old this month. See link below for some historical pictures of its construction. More to follow in time.

So far I have recorded over 500 species there.

Absolutely fantastic. It is great to read the whole process and see the accompanying pictures. I have installed a wildlife pond in my own garden which is now in its 2nd year. I have taken photos along the way so maybe next summer I will post a 3 season record of how it has developed. Mayford pond is an inspiration and all involved should be really proud of themselves.
