Another crab

After my wierd crab which turned out to be a masked crab i was fishing last night at felixstowe and wished i had a camera cause i caught an albino crab it was pure white even had pink eyes non of us who were fishing had seen nothing like it before it was in a strange way beautiful to look at i gotta get a decent camera lol

Sounds abit like a shore crab or velvet swimming crab that was sheading is skin so to speak, their eyes often appear pink during this stage, was the shell splitting? if not then perhaps you caught a genuine albino, can you recall it shape, size etc?

hi dogghound it was defenitly not a peeler(sorry a bit of angling talk there)its shell was hard and had a couple of barnacles on it it was a shore crab or an edible about the size of the top of a pint beer glass by the way my partner also caught a very big very angry edible crab which we eventually got back to the water.
