| | | Are they Gnat larvae? We emptied and cleaned or pond Refilled it had pump running for couple of weeks until the rainy spell ( cable wasn;t a garden one) when we had to turn it off.. Went out there this week to fing Hundreds of what looks like Minute Tadpoles all gathered (about inch wide) all around the pond.
Could they be the Midgie larvae?? they are also in an old sink that collected some of the rain water!!

the najority of the ones in the pond have gone now but there are still loads in the rain water in the sink!

They dont look anything like the ones in the top picture. They look like the ones in the white container further down the page.. They are Black and look like minature tadpoles
