9 Recycling Bins :)

We only get one bin from our council, that is for food waste, this gos to "wormtech" and is sold back as compost. They do however provide pink plastic bags and purple ones too! The pink is for paper and card, the purple is for glass and plastic, these are collected kerbside weekly. Looks like giant condoms dumped everywhere the evening before a collection is due. Our council tip has many options to recycle differant stuff which is great, I now only have a bit of rubbish thats collected fortnightly.

Here in Cheshire we are in the process of changing our recycling from a multitude of boxes for various things, glass, plastic paper etc to three bins. garden waste goes in the brown bin, including small branches,non recycling and dirty waste goes into a dark grey bin and glass, plastic card, paper goes into a silver bin. My main problem is getting big children to recycle or to wash things to go in the recycling I don't really want to keep looking in the bin to check whats in there.
