| | | Dry cleaning bags Why is it every item of dry cleaning has to be encased in a plastic bag that is neither re-usable nor recyclable? I've just collected six items and each one has its own plastic bag, what a waste |

| | | Re: Dry cleaning bags I see your point but what would you suggest as an alternative? I would imagine they are packed individually as each item is cleaned so as to avoid dust. Not ideal but better than having no cover and having one or more of the items you have just paid for drop in the street. |

| | | Re: Dry cleaning bags How about bio-degradeable paper bags? Most people carry their dry cleaning only a few yards to the car so they shouldn't get too wet. |

| | | Re: Dry cleaning bags I have checked this out and it would appear that a company producing clear polythene dry cleaning bags also produces clear biodegradable bags, with a green logo to authenticate the product. They probably cost more to produce but if it helps reduce waste and improves our environment, seems like a step in the right direction. |
