Have just come back from Mum and Dad's (Wales) where I've been for a few days. Dad explained the process to me and drew it out which, again, left me baffled (stoopid) but then demonstrated it when his multi-layered stream from top of mountain ran dry! Put hosepipe in top stream, lift hosepipe in bottom stream ..... fill bottom end of hosepipe .....wait ....... lower bottom hosepipe ... it fills whatever you want it to (when you want it to stop, plug the end (of the bottom stream) and unplug as and when!! Got it now ..... well done girls you described it perfectly x x x x
