Apparently it's to stick them together. I use them in the bottom of flowerpots as the woodlice don't like them and they hold moisture.

Well I thought so too. Must try it. Some good ideas on here. I use coffee grounds to repel slugs (my socks are full as we speak) and they seem to work at least in part. I also find the frogs who live in the poly tunnel are very wide awake.

When I read this last post yesterday I didn't 'get' the wide awake frogs - After a good night's sleep I now can visualise frogs more goggle eyed than usual 
I don't drink tea but always have bags for visitors - just wondering now if I should get loose tea and a pot, or go up to Jacksons and stock up. Isn't it depressing when things like this pop up. I used to buy a particular 'brand' of honey until they started putting into plastic containers.

I'm so pleased I still use loose tea!  It's probably just me, but I find tea made with a bag (even when it's my usual brand inside) just doesn't taste the same....
