M&S kettle and light pollution
Hi - I laughed out loud in Marks today when reading the spec for an energy saving kettle which claimed....

"if we all only filled a keetle with water we needed it would save nationwide
£170M/year enough to light up all the streets of UK for seven months!"

That's the second time in adverts I've seen so-called energy saving transfered to street lighting. Now I know, what I've always suspected, lighting plays no part in energy conservation or indeed light pollution - whatever that is!
