| | | Re: Do you recycle your phone? We should all be recycling anything electrical ... phones, computers, etc .. the world only has so many resources and dumping them in landfill is just shameful really.
I do use my phone but only replaced my old one recently simply because I wanted a digital camera for my travels so rather than have two pieces of equipment to lug around I got a phone & digi cam in one .. my old phone was given to a friend to use.
Great thread, thanks. |

| | | Re: Do you recycle your phone? I have never had a mobile phone and do not ever want one. Aaah people say they are sooooooooo useful in an emergency. I live in the bottom of a valley and half the time there is no reception any way. Therefore do not have to recycle them.

I am a member of the RSPB and they sent me envelopes to recycle my old phone. I went and collected phones off my nieces and nephews when they upgraded their old ones. |

| | | Re: Do you recycle your phone? I freecycle ours if there is any life in them, or donate to a charity if they are beyond use. I tend to use a phone until it dies on me, long after it has gone out of circulation, as it takes me about a year to memorise a number, so I hang on to them. I like texting - they don't make that many which are good for texting. I just don't understand why people want to upgrade them so often. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
