| | | Amazing what some... people dump in canals! Took this picture this afternoon as my hubby and i went for a stroll
And just as i took this picture a Kingfisher who was just as surprised as us landed about 3m next to car on a branch before I could turn the camera it was flying up the canal Wow never been so close to one Had a great couple of days thanks to this weather seen birds we rarely see   Come on more snow

| | | Re: Amazing what some... I know it looks pretty unsightly, but it will be packed full of wildlife like small fish, which will result in your kingfisher being where it was. The downside is the fuel and other chemicals in the paint etc escaping into the river as it rots down. |

Very old fashioned vehicle but only big enough for two children to sit in. I actually liked the image very arty lol
But your right lots of fish shelter there I expect we do get lots of fish in this canal . Hence the Kingfisher
