She always gets flowers and not becaue she is a florist but because i like to romance her lots and lots. But cheers for the advice anyway. |

Definately infinately better to get a box of lovely organic foody things to cook with or lovely soapy, toiletry type stuff to wash with... | My Girlfriend feels very insecure about herself at her time.. She always feels that eevery body is against her. Why? I can't understand but i'm there to love & support her. If i don't show any thought of care then what kind of boyfriend am i? You obviously haven't read my first post. |

You obviously haven't read my first post. | hmmm yes lots of women feel like that, definately hormone related, you sit there feeling so down knowing full well there's no real reason for it! Its very frustrating
I did read your first post and yes it is totally clear that you are a caring and thoughtful person, your reasons for buying such a thing are praiseworthy absolutely and as a sort of present at the tricky time that you had got as something that might help it would probably be a winner its just that well.....
under pretty xmas wrapping its certainly not something that would put a big smile on my face and I'm the kind of person who'd quite like kitchen utensils (so long as they are lovely special ones).... the pack you describe, if it had lovely soaps and clensers and shower gels as well as a few sanitary items they could then be sort of overlooked at the time and tried out of curiousity at a later date and may then even turn out to be preferred.
but as a sole gift I'm not convinced, but then again of course you know your lovely girly far better than I |

| | | Re: girlie mooncup I've been using one for the past year and wouldn't be without it! Comfortable, easy to use and has revolutionised my life. Far easier than carting boxes of 'supplies' around with you (especially when out and about in the field or on holiday).
Every woman ought to give the mooncup a try - good for the environment and good for you. |

| | | Re: girlie mooncup Sorry about this again lads but YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSS !!!!
Bit tricky first day or two but am now completeley converted. Very comfy and I feel so smug not putting nasty bleached horrors into our landfill sites or water system. Am making it my mission to spread the word and encourage others.
I bet Tesco et al are not selling them or promoting them because they'll lose an enormous amount of money on tampon sales etc. I may just write to our local store and request they display them. How many peeps have never heard of this or never will unless they reach shops where we spend a few hours a week.
Oh and Jez, I would be chuffed to high heaven if my bloke was thoughtfull enough to buy me one of them as part of a xmas gift

| | | Re: girlie mooncup Never mind about the everyday woman doing her weekly shop never being made aware of mooncups. I had to spend a few days in hospital recently, and managed to drop the subject into conversation with my gynacologist, and she'd never heard of them either. She even called the saff nurse and registrar into the room to join in the conversation, and I think they were all planning a trip to Boots that weekend to check them out!
Pleased to hear you have persevered galanthus and become a fellow mooncup convert! |

The site I got it from even did an 'offset the carbon' charge; you pay them a pound extra on delivery and they donate this to global warming research.
