| | | Re: Coast to Coast Walk - 2012 Thanks Davy, not long now. Got a new pair of TNF Hedgehog walking shoes and not cheap either, but I'm trying them around the house, got 28 days to take them if I change my mind about them.
I have now 13 pairs of walking boots/shoes, bit crazy really, but I can't help it. I even gave a brand new Paramo Fuera jacket to my Mum, having too many jackets to start with. |

I'm planning a double coast to coast bike ride later in the year, OK, I know I babbled on about it, but this time I really mean to do it.
Next year, I'm planning on the far North-West of Scotland on the bike and hope to get to Cape Wrath, but that is a long time off. |

I've always fancied doing a long walk that terminates at Cape Wrath. Whilst on Ben More (Mull) in 2010, I got talking to a bloke who lived at Balquidder (southern Highlands), who did a walk from his front door that finished at Cape Wrath. It sounded tremendous.
Soz for digressing.

| | | Re: Coast to Coast Walk - 2012 I'm going to post some photos on my blog, but it's on my walking blog, see my profile on the blog. These are from my first and second coast to coast walk, in 1990 and 1991. Of cause, this is long before digital image came in and are on good old 35mm colour film format. I'm going to spend a little while, scanning them onto jpeg format and it should be good to see them over again. Happy days. |
