| | | Re: camping near west london There's a couple of campsites in Pitstone, Bedfordshire. Ideal for cycling into London along the nearby canal. Whipsnade Zoo is nearby. Pitstone Green Museum is also nearby, but only opens occasionaly. It's well worth a visit - you can 'fly' a WW 2 full-size replica Lancaster bomber there! Pitstone Green Museum of Rural Life.
The canal enters the Thames at Brentford, across the river to Kew Gardens. Call into Camden Market on the canal in London. Pitstone campsites
