I've recovered for the lovely week-end and despite the stomach bug, which may of been the water or beer, I don't know, it was a grand week-end out. The weather was lovely apart from the rain in the early hours of Saturday, but on the Saturday and Sunday it'self, the weather did improve a lot.

I had two good 25 miles on the pub rides and with good company. I didn't get much from the trade tent, money's short.

So, all this has got me thinking, that I should do the double coast to coast bike ride in August, instead of the coast to coast walk, which I did last year.

I will probably use the Hadrian's Cycle Way from Newcastle upon Tyne to Bowness on the Solway, down to St. Bees and back to Robin Hood's Bay via the Lakes and North Pennines. I'm going to add on York via the Vale of Mowbray and the Vale of York, then back to Danby via the North Yorkshire Moors, which I will head to the coast from there.
