Glyndwrs Way

Hello All,
I'm planning on walking Llwybr Glyndwr ( Glyndwr's Way ) this year.
When I'm on a long distance path I like to take excursions off the path
for day walks. I'm familiar with the western part of the walk around
the Machynlleth area, but would welcome suggestions for day walks
from the rest of the trail. Also, I prefer to walk from campsite to campsite
so I can lighten the the load with peace of mind while I'm doing day walks
( wild camping gives me a sense of freedom, but if I leave my kit
unattended I worry about it to much). Is there any stretches of this
trail that this will be a problem.
