| | | Re: Cleveland Way - 2011 I've got around to adding the photos of the Cleveland Way, I did back in May. I'm hoping to complete the section from Robin Hood's Bay to Saltburn-by-the-Sea in an few weeks time, hope it does not start snowing by then
But, if I do the walk as mentioned, I will add the photos to the blog.
Here is my blog. Cleveland Way 2011

| | | Re: Cleveland Way - 2011 Just finished the last 27 miles of the Cleveland Way over three days from Robin Hood's Bay to Saltburn by the Sea, based in Whitby. Weather was great, so pretty lucky really. Took plenty of photos, see my new blog on my contact page. Walks and Rides
The walking was great, enjoying every mile and the sea air is a must, never felt better. The only fish and chips I had was a great little chippie shop in Skinningrove, a super place to visit with loads of local history.
Too much beer in Whitby bed and breakfast was good, but would of preferred to camp and I could of, due to the superb weather conditions, not to worry.
Anyway, next year, it's looking like the Southern Upland Way, a Scottish coast to coast walk of 212 miles. So, at that, I will be using parts of the Cleveland Way, especially the coast path with plenty of up's and down's for training. |

| | | Re: Cleveland Way - 2011 My blogger account, showing the Walks and Rides which has my account of the Cleveland Way photos on it. But, been having trouble with it this afternoon, trying to access my account to no avil. Google did not seem to helpful and there needed more refined details from me. I deleted my other account yesterday and thought about starting afresh, wishing I had not. The one I created yesterday, that is the one, I could not access is now deleted, only I got to it via You tube and lucky I knew the remember name of a school friend. But, I've created a new account and it's blank for now. Just a bit fed up losing all the photos on the blog and video's on you tube, of cause, these are still on the SD card, thank goodness. Still get figure out why my password was not able to access the account, all i can think is the clear browser data has wiped it clean. |

| | | Re: Cleveland Way - 2011 Oh what a bummer tho it sounds as tho you will be able to recoup most of it? Its the very devil when this sort of thing happens - chin up - don't stress just think how much you enjoyed the walk - its yours - your memories - no-one can take that away

| | | Re: Cleveland Way - 2011 It is a bummer, but it has happened and not much I can do to bring them back. However, all is not lost. I can put some of the best photos on here and most important thing, is I'm happy completing the Cleveland Way and got my tiny lapel badge as a reward.
Next year, is the Southern Upland Way with my good mate, back-packing too. Also, a cycling tour of Northumbria, Borders, North Pennines and North Yorkshire, about a week at that. Got a draft route sorted, so that will be nice to do. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
