| | | walks in yorkshire Hi guys,
I'm looking for some nice walks to go on with my dogs in Yorkshire but i'm struggling to find anything since i can't drive and have to rely on train services. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any walks that start near railway stations in Yorkshire.
thanks. |

| | | Re: walks in yorkshire Come to Elsecar.
From the station walk down the hill.At the bottom is the Heritage Center with an information office with details of local walks
The Trans-Pennine Trail goes along the canal towards the Dearne Valley (starts behind the Center) or head up into the woods and around the lovely village of Wentworth.
Quite a lot of pubs in both areas do meals

P.S. Welcome to WAB

| | | Re: walks in yorkshire depends where in s yorks you are - train from hudds to greenfield, then walk through the village on to Dovestones RSPB reserve, round the moors or resvrs, back to Greenfield for a pint in the Railway, right next to the station, well recommended.
Cheers
Ken
