Mountain Biking the Coast to Coast 2011

Hi Posie, nice to see you back on the forum after a long absent, I've been missing you.

Yes, the Coast to Coast bike ride is next month, but not on the mountain bike. I've decided to stick to the tarmac roads and will use the trekking bike, which is a cross between a road bike and a mountain bike, in other ways a hybrid bike. I'm camping the route, which is 200 miles and doing the ride in 4 days.

The route is sorted and have blog, which I will put back for you.

I think the Coast to Coast walk, I was planning for later this year, is iffy. I may do a double coast to coast bike ride or the Cleveland Way walk instead, but who knows what will happen then.

The Coast to Coast on a mountain bike is still on and doing it in August. Also done a few changes to the route.

Looks like the coast to coast mountain bike ride is on the cards for 2012. Been on Bike Hike and created a route and downloaded to my Memory-Map and looks good. I will be posting the details on my new blog shortly and this time, I hope to do it.
