I have an electric bike how lazy i hear you say !.. but i am over 60 and over weight also have asthma i look at it as a life saver.most mornings i rise at four thirty and then pedal down to sutton park which is on my door step (so lucky) as you can imagine there are many rabbits fox's bird's but just recently i have been sitting with the bats next to one of the pools of which there are seven , just thought i would mention it cos. i do realize how lucky i am to live in such a built up area with such a pearl on my doorstep

Hee Hee nah it's normal for me old age brings strange sleeping hours i just love it ..! it's dark no one about only the weird noises the of the local inhabitants a simple pleasure indeed

I envy you at being able to get up that early. I am a right old sleepy head. I am told it is the best time of day to see a lot of the wildlife we have.

Yes you are right it is a wonderfull time of day it is also when they have the dawn chorus early on in the year

I'll see 4.30am sometimes but that's only from staying up 'til daft times mothing .......

Welcome to WAB Lesped.Good time of day at o4.30.I'm An oldie too.62 nearing 63 Dec.Love being out to see the skies at that time.Always lots of skurying going on in the field next to us.To many hills even for an electric bike here.
