| | | UK Mainland Coast Hi
I wondered if there was anyone out there who is currently walking the coast of Britain. My wife and I are doing it in stages. We started from Dover about 3 years ago and using holidays here and there we have now reached Helford Passage in Cornwall. A fantastic project and we cannot wait to get back there, hopefully between Christmas and New Year.

| | | Re: UK Mainland Coast I'm currently walking the South west coast path and realise it's only a small part of the british coast. If you have done a website of your journey i would be very interested in reading about the experience so far.

| | | Re: UK Mainland Coast An interesting thread. Being more of a hill-walker, I never thought I'd fancy coastal walking, but in recent years have done some lovely coastal walks in Cornwall, the North Riding, Scotland and Northumberland and I enjoy it I think every bit as much as the hills.
J.P, I like the way you are going about your walk, stopping to do a bit of fishing, fossil hunting, etc. Experiences like that make it more than just a walk.
I hope the both of you enjoy the rest of your journeys.

I might load it onto a website. We have thoroughly enjoyed the SW Coastal path so far. Not quite half way.
