Yorkshire Castles

Hi,

I am trying (to no avail) to locate a web site which lists all castles and castle ruins within the counties of Yorkshire.

Is there anyone who can help me with this quest.

Best I can offer is CastleXplorer - explore the castles of Britain. They have a castle locater with an interactive map and Yorkshire is at CastleXplorer - Yorkshire. But as it only lists 13 I'm not convinced it's a complete list.

Here's 3 links for you but I think the first one probably has all you need,including os map refs for each site, be careful though because some of the sites are just archeaological with little if any evidence showing above ground.
