Coast 2 Coast Mountain Bike Ride

I'm now planning a mountain bike ride across Northern England, instead of walking. Watch this space.

This could be possible now, due to a change in my shift rota which may change to me Sunday working and not being able to get out with the walking club for my training.

So, cycling is going to be the way in and out with the walking.

The pc with is still not right, so maybe time I got a new pc or laptop.

Probably in the future, I may have to work on a Sunday

but at the end of the day, it's the job that pays the bills. This is part of a big change at work and I've been doing 6 twilights for 10 years with only one night off, that being Sunday, which was great for getting out with the walking club, but I have'nt been out with the club since February. However, I'm going to be on 5 days, but longer shift hours to make up the short fall of my hours. The good news is I will now get 2 days off during the week, much is better transport times than on a Sunday and will still be able to do some walking up on the North Yorkshire Moors with some careful planning and there is some good walking along the coast near Saltburn by the Sea, so i'm sure things will work out in the end.

Now, the trouble is, is there is 8 weeks left for my 2 weeks hols and still not decided, oh hum. I still like the idea of a one way coast to coast on the bike and maybe still do the Cleveland Way as well in the same fortnight.
