Regards, Chris | On Longside Edge, parked in the layby in the picture and walked up onto the hillside following the Trans Pennine Trail, the owl was just off the path, never seen one whilst driving over the woodhead and I go over every 3 weeks or so ferrying the eldest to/from Chester Uni

Regards, Chris | The snack van is in the next layby down (towards Woodhead) - went over twice this morning! taking eldest back to Chester. Did notice at the Barnsley end quite a few roadkills that could have been Moutain Hare.
