Chores?? You must be kidding! I did a 10 miler from Birchover on Wednesday

Lovely food at the Druid in Birchover, not been for a while though. We camped for a weekend at the farm at the edge of the village, turned out it was their carnival weekend, never forget a band thrashing out Black Sabbath numbers on the back of a lorry trailer outside the other pub up the street... anyhooo, no piccies from that one?

Even with the new path I nearly got lost out there one evening in Winter. I can only imagine how boggy it used to be.

Haven't been up in about a month, but I can still see ravines of snowdrift on the hilltops. It shows how much temperature varies with altitude. But isn't hot air meant to rise? And the peaks are closer to the sun. What figures?

'Fraid not Richard. My companion chose the route and to be honest, after Monday/Tuesday on Kinder, I was rather unenthusiastic about it
I mean, who in their right mind would swap crispy white snowy hills for deep sticky mud and farmers fields??

Couldn't wait to get back up Kinder on the Thursday!
