Love your photos Sunny. They always remind me of my days in the Peak.
My Dad calls it God's own country (although he is an absolute atheist). As a Nottingham lad I think he spent much of youth on the hills there in the 1940s and 50s. So my introduction to the hills was also there when he started taking me a few years later. |

Lovely photos of an old friend. I personally prefer the northern edges of Kinder as they are a little quieter, between the Boxing Glove Stones and Fairbrook Naze especially. I walked that way up William Clough last August and got horrendously mauled by midges on the way.

Hello Tracey, what lovely pics, I've never been anywhere like that, all grass and trees around here, best I can do is Old Winchester Hill and others similar, but no beautiful rocks like in your pics.Just looks like another world to me, so thankyou for the 'experience' albeit in pictures.....Posie. | | | |
