| | | Re: Which gloves for winter? I went out today about 4.30pm, to move about half a mile of electric fencing, and other chores, and it was raining and I got wet and my hands got cold, and I had neither gloves nor spuds with me. Did I ever regret it.Brrrrrr ''my tiny hands were frozen'' cue for a song. anyway, I've installed a pair of gloves in the pocket of every one of my coats and macs so I don't get caught out again......Poe-of-the-Pond... |

I'm not one for bright colours though, as I reckon it scares away the wildlife! | Oh which Sealskinz gloves do you have Tracey?,I've got the Black ultra-grips,still excellent and waterproof. My Father just bought some different waterproof sealskinz, little mobility, and he now has tree trunks for fingers .Also Richard I now have a glove and hat bag, does it bother you ,them being mixed up like that in the same bag |

It used to bother me quite a bit actually, until I realised that the answer is to just empty the bag onto the floor, find what you need and then stuff everything else back in...
By the way, I realised the other day I have another 2 pairs of cycling gloves in the garage... |

| | | Re: Which gloves for winter? At least its not about using food to keep warm. I remember reading somewhere that Seton Gordon had a cabbage leaf under his hat once, presumably for waterproofing, could this be used as a waterproof lining for gloves perhaps? .Your approach to finding things is the same as mine, turn it upside down. Thanks for your help Richard. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
