| | | Re: Which gloves for winter? Depending on how cold it is, I have a few different pairs of gloves that I wear in diffferent combinations.
I have a pair of Peter Storm fingerless gloves which are great if it isn't too cold. I also have a pair of silk gloves, whilst wearing them I can easily adjust binoculars. Sometimes I wear the silk gloves under the Peter Storm ones, a great combination if it's a bit colder.
I also have a pair of woollen gloves which have a thinsulate lining, these are great if it's really cold and worn with the silk gloves, kept me warm even when the temperature was down to minus 15c earlier this year.
I also have the fingerless gloves with the covering that can be brought forward and velcro'd in place, these also have a thinsulate lining and are very warm, especially with the silk gloves. |

| | | Re: Which gloves for winter? I use my old riding gloves. They are thick knitted gloves with plastic grippers on the fingers and palms. ideal for holding the reins but just as equally ideal for focusing bins and scope. Used them with the camera on Sunday and it was a bit fidderly but I still managed. |
