Richard : My Odlos arrived today (good on-line service from the shop in St Albans, incidentally, and helpful counter staff when I `phoned the shop). I probably won`t be trying them out just yet; not until the weather dries up and light levels improve, anyway. If I am comfortably warm when the wind is north or nor`east and I am at Keyhaven Marshes, for example, I will know that they work.

However, I am probably not the best person to give them a fair trial because, as I mentioned in my first post, I must feel the cold more than most other people. They wash well in the machine (no colour-run), dry very quickly, and did not shrink at all. Sizing is generous, too.

| | | Re: Which thermal underwear? Probably will be using the thermals next week if weather remains cool, esq at night. I'll probably wear Lowe Alpine thermal long johns and Helly Hansen thermal long-sleeved shirt in my down sleeping bag.
