| | Walking Companions wanted:-) Hello, it's only me!
Not sure I'll get much response but what the heck!
I'm currently looking to meet new walking companions for week-day walks in and around Derbyshire and the Peak District.
Male/female, age not an issue....but an easy going personality and a love of nature/wildlife is a must! I'm not a route marcher and enjoy a few stops to absorb my surroundings, eat a packed lunch....and to take the odd photo along the way
I'm female, age 40 and I drive.
Please PM me if interested,
Thanks,
Tracey (sunnydale)

Maybe one day, I could arrange a 'walking weekend' in the Peaks and you can all come and join me at once!
Could be a lot of fun!
For now though, I just have to hope someone out there lives close enough to accompany me! I'll even throw in an ice-cream or a beer at the end of the walk!
Kayleigh, I don't rule out getting a dog ....but that can't happen while my daughter lives at home. She's allergic to them

| | | Re: Walking Companions wanted:-) Shame that I'm all the way down here in Dorset! I would love the chance to rediscover Derbyshire. I spent three years in Matlock in the mid '60s and have not really been back since. Not being very helpful are we? |

| | | Re: Walking Companions wanted:-) I'm 77 miles away in Brum and I enjoy the Peaks. A walking Weekend, great! Let me know if you want someone to go WOW at outdoor wonders! Sitting with a sarnie and a cuppa sounds even better.
Normally always available

| | | Re: Walking Companions wanted:-) If you know of any decent campsites in or around Bakewell, I could pop down and do some walking in that area - mid-week. I would be open to any suggestions and maybe treat you to a Bakewell Tart and It will be September. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
