| | | How to get live coverage of Le Tour ... I watched the start of the Tour de France on Eurosport yesterday. Quite nice but I wanted to watch the condensed version on ITV4 yesterday evening but the channel failed to appear. Today I can get neither Eurosport nor ITV4. There doesn't seem to be anyway of watching on-line or listening on the radio .... or does someone know better? Help
PS: yes, I've taken it up with my cable company and they promise the world ... such as giving me £5 a day until it clears up ...... but I don't want the money. |

I use a Freeview TV tuner stick that I plug into the USB port of my computer, It is a Hauppauge make, I then use Windows Media centre to watch and so on. There are quite a few other makes as well. It is not too expensive, works with all my computers and sends TV to disk if required. ITV4 is showing up well on that. I have used similar stuff for more than ten years, also to capture video from webcams and so on. A sharp guy like you should be able to get it going very quickly, you do need an aerial.

If you go to the official letour.fr website, and click on the "Live" tab (located next to the News tab near the top of the page) there is a live streaming video link which, when clicked on, should give you what you need. (This link only seems to be visible during the actual race stage period - I tried it just now and it's not there).
Regards
Mike.

Mike. | Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow. I was too late today. I think I should also be able to get Eurosport streamed but couldn't see how on their website .... again, try again tomorrow! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
