Repairing taped seams in tents

Hi folks. I put up my tent the other day and discovered that many of the taped seams are hanging off. Is there a recommended product in the shops that would be suitable for sticking them back in place?

hi

they need re-sealing. you can get 'seam sealer' at any decent camping/outdoor shop. it's a viscous sticky water-proof solution that you apply when the tent is completely dry. just use it to stick the seams back on and they should be fine.

Thanks Marvin. It is an old tent, but one I rather like. I'd rather repair it than get a new one.

We used a product which was an adhesive and tape called "Tenacious Tape"
We found it online with a search.
