| | | Repairing taped seams in tents Hi folks. I put up my tent the other day and discovered that many of the taped seams are hanging off. Is there a recommended product in the shops that would be suitable for sticking them back in place?
Many thanks.

they need re-sealing. you can get 'seam sealer' at any decent camping/outdoor shop. it's a viscous sticky water-proof solution that you apply when the tent is completely dry. just use it to stick the seams back on and they should be fine.
cheers

| | | Re: Repairing taped seams in tents Thanks Marvin. It is an old tent, but one I rather like. I'd rather repair it than get a new one.

We found it online with a search.
