Thanks, Sunny. Yes, this is my second time doing Striding Edge. I just love that ridge walk to the Chimney, then down and up the rocky path to to the top of the Hellvenllyn. Looking at some people who were holding on to dear life, thinking what is all the fuss about. Lucky it was a nice day, would of been fun if it had been raining.

Thanks Pete, I did enjoy the 5 days on the last third section of the Coast to Coast, having no regrets about not doing Cleveland Way. Anyway the Lakes was nice end to my holiday.

So THAT's what the view looks like!

The top of Helvellyn always seems to have been in clouds the last few times I've been there, though I think it was clear the one time I did Striding Edge almost 20 years ago.

I've one week holiday left and hope to do the Cleveland Way sometime in the New Year as part of my training for the Coast to Coast.
