| | | Recommendations for Family Tent Does anyone have any recommendations for a good 4-person family tent?
I saw some good reviews for the Vango TBS Oregon 400 tent, but this now seems unavailable.

| | | Re: Recommendations for Family Tent The Cabanon range are good. We used a 'Nadia' for years with the family. Plenty of room for activities on a wet day.

| | | Re: Recommendations for Family Tent I would recommend our model but, as in your case, it's no longer available! I think your best chance is to go down to your local big camping store and try out the options. I also find good advice and information on this forum: Tent talk. | | | Re: Recommendations for Family Tent I'd also suggest that for a family frame tent, which is usually quite large and will stand for a week or so on a pitch, that you get a cotton tent, rather than synthetic. The reason for this is that a cotton tent will 'weather' to suit any uneveness of the ground, and slack panels will shrink taut, whereas synthetic ones won't. There's nothing more irritating with a tent than to have panels that flap and rattle in wind!

| | | Re: Recommendations for Family Tent Hiya!
If you use ebay, look up seller 'Tentastic'. Brilliant range of tents at spectacular prices. I bought from them last year and was totally impressed with both quality and price!
All the very best,
Reg
