| | | Walking/Trekking Poles Just got a couple of pairs of these from ebay and wondered what is the recomended height they should be set at ? , seen some people walking with them set so the grip is level with the chest and others lower .Was thinking set them to fit arms/hands level with elbow when bent ie 90% .
Any advice

| | | Re: Walking/Trekking Poles Walking poles, great. I've a pair now and wondered how I managed years ago. Anyway getting to the question, yes, 90 degrees. When ascenting, adjust to shorten pole and descenting, adjust to lenghted pole.
There is a good web-site called Alpkit, go on there and link on support.
