| | | Re: The Tees Bridge's Bike Ride Well, all the 14 bridges have been visited this morning, including a extra bridge which carried a water pipe. The weather was not too bad, but very windy and I managed to keep the camera steady. Some of the bridges are very old and some very modern and forms a contrast between them.
I've enjoyed taking these and hope you will enjoy looking at them. Most of Tees is walkable and the Teesdale route does go along it. I took the bike and most of it is on decent bike paths and considering Teesside is a large area, you can avoid the heavy traffic.
Listed from 1-15

4. Tees Barrage
5. Infinity
6. Princess of Wales
7. All the Rivers

9. Victoria
10. Stockton Railway
11. A66. Surtrees
12. Water-Pipe
13. Jubilee.
14. Yarm Road

| | | Re: The Tees Bridge's Bike Ride Hey well done Foxy! The last two are my favourites. Must be the lovely stonework I'm not a fan of metal/steel bridges.

| | | Re: The Tees Bridge's Bike Ride Thanks Sunny Yes, the stone bridge's are the best ones, although the Victoria bridge (no:8) used to be a stone bridge a long long time ago, there are still remains of it.
Maybe next time I will do from Cow Green to Yarm, somehow I think that will take a bit longer to ride. |

| | | Re: The Tees Bridge's Bike Ride I have an affection for stone bridges myself too, but 1 and 2 are like nothing i have ever seen before. Teeside does have some interesting bridges indeed!
Glad the heavens didn't halt the trip and you got some nice shots too Foxy!!!

| | | Re: The Tees Bridge's Bike Ride Bridges fascinate me. They also scare me; they have me in awe of their silent power, even the little ones.
Of these pictures, no.5 stood out immediately for me. "Infinity".
Thanks Foxy.
