I know...I would not have believed it myself..
It was cold though but I was lucky with the weather as I was in July too when I was there..

Nice photos Kayleigh. Did you by any chance travel on the Jacobite Steam Train from Fort Bill to Mallaig? You would have experienced some wonderful views if you had, it's actually one of my favorite Scottish locations .

No but it sounds idyllic I was only there for the day..Seamus took me in his car we had a great day..
Don't have a coffee there though I was foul...LOL..

Today we went for a 6 mile walk in Pamber Forest in North Hampshire. A lovely place, we haven't been for a while so always nice to go back and see how it's changed in the seasons. It was very muddy but enjoyable. Lovely views of jays, long-tailed tits, marsh or willow tits (I have no idea ) great tits, woodpeckers noisily making their presence known even if we didn't see them and a few friendly robins singing their hearts out at us.
Trying to decide where to go tomorrow, seems a shame to waste a day off without rain even if we're both full up with colds

Hi folks, great walks & photos. Yesterday we went to Pooley Country Park near Tamworth. It`s an old Colliery. Not much on the wildlife front, but nice to be out & about

From Wharf Bridge along the towpath on the Basingstoke Canal and across Eelmoor to the hillfort at Caesar's Camp, in bright but bitterly cold weather.

Having not done much walking since October, it's that I decided to get out of my cosy bed this morning and do some walking, as part of Coast to Coast walk training.

The route was:
Scotch Corner - Gilling West - Hartforth - Ravensworth - Sturdy House - High Moor - Whitcliffe Scar - Applegarth - Round Howe - Richmond.

16 miles and mostly field paths and tracks, lots of stiles and muddy, still lots of snow in places.

I was wearing a new pair of Berghaus Explorer boots, which were very good and comfy. Now I need to wash that mud off.

It's some photos I took today, not the best I done, probably wrong setting.
